Classic, though would benefit from Dolby Digital 5.1

Compatibility with n64 controller via usb adapter would help and difficulty sliders. Just realised, it's been upgraded from Dolby Surround (mono ambience surround), brilliant. Hope the Pathfinding Chicago ghost bugs are fixed.

Its true, controls were better on N64 but if your analog stick hasnt worn down and snapped off from playing too much perfect dark , ur doing it wrong. Sure, the c pad was good, but the analog sticks were killer. Dont miss those sticks one bit. No rubber sheath left my left thumb impregnated. Anyway, great game, better than most modern fps by far. Should still be the standard to live up to... Deserved to be better

great game made worse by dreadful analog range detection. Means movement is no longer subtle. Quite how though as xbox1 has the best detectable range on its controllers. Simply put the conversion regards to this aspect is very poor even with the added remake control options. A real shame as its a cracking game that features a very precise control on the original N64 pad. Your best bet with the xbox version is to just stick to auto aim and aim with mind to be more linear in your movement aim. It's then the game can still be ok but targeting individual areas is very much more a task especially as auto aim rules this out anyway- Perfect Dark's auto aim even on the N64 version was designed to snaps agressively. So certainly I've got to wonder how something so crucial as aim movement could be so comparitively broken and not noticed by game testers or even Rare themselves. Everything else though is as you might hope for even if it is a little too clean. Rock solid framerate

Not gonna waste time again

Im sorry but i dont enjoy backtracking through entire levels, waiting minutes for lasers to deactivate so i can go look for some item somewhere in the level, im not wasting time doing that kinda ****

Rares magnum opus

Playing this for the first time, it is one of the smoothest FPS games, PERIOD, especially on console. Goldeneye may have perfected the FPS genre but perfect dark crystalized it. Great game.
