I love Retro (I even used big R for retro 😆), and these are genuine classics every gamer NEEDS to play, not just us 1980s arcade kids. Top marks. Ace 👍😎

Castlevania is one of the best horror fantasy action games ever, i wished they added the other games from the canon series, but overall its the best to start off with this collection. Time to whip with the mormorning star

Worth it for Super Castlevania IV alone!!

Nothing beats SOTN but this is where it all started! Slaying ghosts werewolves and skelebobs with your whip, Castlevania III was one of first games I completed as a kid and with Halloween coming up felt to urge to join the Belmonts again and do some old school Vampire hunting! 🎃🦇👻🕷️🕸️

Not as good as Shenmue II (obviously) and the games can be rather frustrating, but I suppose the menu is pretty cool.

Castlevania is a masterpiece. If you like Old School games and if you are a fan of Castlevania, then pick it up. This game is difficult, but get good then! Once you beat these games, it's rewarding and the best feeling in the world. Don't read any of the hate comments. It's just cry babies complaining because they find the game to difficult. 😂😂

Absolutely worth it. Original is a masterpiece, Draculas curse is excellent (be prepared its nails), scv4 is great, bloodlines is imo better than scv4. Simons quest i actually enjoyed but use a guide as it is excruciatingly vague. 1st GB game is utter mince as Simon moves like he is heavily pregnant, constipated and on antipsychotic medication.

I'm giving 5 stars because Castlevania is a great franchise but.... My god these games are hard, how did people in the late 80's & early 90's not smash their NES and SNES controllers. Konami were utter savage at making games back in the day

Pure retro goodness!

Great Konami Castlevania goodness to be had here,with menus and everything working solid.And here comes my gripe.Why have Konami not fixed or patched there Konami arcade collection,its the 17th of may as i wright this review and the menus for it still dont work (Not like castlevania collection which work brilliant) Come on Konami get your act together and fix your arcade collection.

I never expected to love this collection, but absolutely do! What an amazing collection! Bought out of nostalgia for Castlevania IV (SNES) I find myself really enjoying EVERY game in this collection. Gameboy titles have the genuine Gameboy green screen option, and look incredible on the big screen. The star of the show has to be Bloodlines/New Generation. It's amazing, especially considering the hardware restrictions of the time, eye poppingly good! Kid Dracula is the icing on the cake. An Arcade run & shoot game within the Castlevania framework and SUCH good quality. VERY fun and feels like a luxury to finally see over here. This collection genuinely made me feel excited to seek out the rest of the titles in the franchise, which is a job well done. More like this Konami! Keep em coming, especially Parodius and Star Soldier (Hudson)!!!

A classic gaming franchise that is once more given flesh, have at it!

Well presented collection of loved retro games all delivered faithfully, flicker and all. Save states will ensure that childhood games can finally be beaten (im looking at you castlevania3). The megadrive game is also here which , to my knowing, is the first offical release on modern platforms. You also all get 'bloodlines' and not the watered down 'new generation' we brits and the rest of europe had to endure. If i have anything negative to say it would be the lack of leaderboards. A small gripe that doesnt change the fact that this is a great collection of games from one of my favourite franchises ever. Also....its cheap as chips.
