First time playing crysis 2 , an what a game it is. Now from playing crysis remastered i wasnt hopeful but man did they fix it all. Crysis 2 for me is a masterpiece !!

Loved it on the 360

Loved it again remastered and in 4k. 2 was my fave of the 3 but now 3 seems better with more environmental variation.

Still has same bugs as 360 version, graphics look way nicer and frame rate looks a solid 60 but just like the 360 version there are many textue pop in and out anomalys. There are points were scripted dialog is cut off. I have not completed yet, but for the most part this is an upgrade to the original, but it is not a remaster, same bugs that havnt been fixed and a new one with the super solider achievement due to incomptability with quick ressume feature that i have seen other players having. And i was expecting multiplayer, loved C2 online and I know many others did also. In summry, they got 50% of this right, then just forgot about the other 50%, this is not a true remaster, this is a graphical upgrade and thats it. Worth picking on sale but not full price. These crysis remasters have been a massive wasted oppertunity, like many things these days, I doubt they will at least fix the problems in this trilogy either. Such potential sqaunderd.

Achievements broken

The game is still fun years later but achievements are currently broken. Key campaign achievements aren't unlocking along with achievements like kill X number of enemies with this method. The game has also crashed on me a fair few times as well as textures breaking

Some of the best FPS games ever

After completing the game, the 'Start spreading the news' chievo did not pop. I completed the last level twice and still didn't get it. After completing Supersoldier, the achievement for completing 12 levels did not pop even though all 19 levels show they were completed on SS and i have the chievo for completing the whole game on SS. Please fix.

It is good game just nowhere near as good as Crysis 1. This game should now be fixed as it was again a buggy mess. Quality mode with hdr 4k 60fps the game looks amazing. Good story and a better streamlined suit powers. Bad points. Quick resume breaks difficulty saves Still suffers from grain/static bug just like the 360 version. AI can be stupid sometimes. Not open world like the first one.

Gamebreaking bug 😒

I think I'm about half way through the game, not long after you bring the 2 air defense turrets online. I entered a new area, died then respawned. The game crashed as I respawned, now everytime I restart the game crashes with seemingly no way to load a previous save.

Crysis 2 has aged pretty well considering how bad the first game was "remastered".This game has a very enjoyable campaign, which I just couldn't stop playing.

Supersoldier achievement bugged

Completed the game on Supersoldier but it only counted as 3/19 chapters completed. What a load of ****. crytek are now on my *********.

Does not support quick resume!

First crysis remaster was designe to be nex gen. It suported ray tracing and quick resume. Very few bugs - if any. But this rushed out joke is souly an xbox one joke ignoring the reason and benefits of being available on 2 gens newer hardware. 60fps but no hw raytracing and no simple quick resume!

Supersoldier glitched... Again.

After being robbed of supersoldier completion on the 360 with two playthroughs I was hesitant on picking this up. To my amazement it's still broken on the remaster ten years later.

Runs at a locked 60fps on the Series X, no real bugs on my end. For those who want the Super Soldier achievement, do not use the quick resume function on newer hardware, it will glitch the game into thinking you are playing on recruit difficulty. Thus locking you out of the achievement.

Great game ruined by game - braking bugs

I have had to restart the game countless times due to getting stuck in place to anything I come close to. From walls to trees to any kind of a vehicles ingame. I played the original on pc, and never had an issue. Please fix the game. Playing on XSX.

These campaign driven games are a thing of the past.Which is a shame because a well told engageing story told through a host of action game play moments,is exactly what got me into video games.The campaign is not short ether.For the price i payed,me thinks its a bargain.it runs great on my Xbox series x also.(Making me feel like I'm back in the early 20th century,on a £3000 computer)i played this on Xbox 360.Don't get me wrong,this game might be an old game.But it still impesses me now.I'm glad to able to take this trip down memory lane in glorious high reslution at 60fps with volametric lighting.And teserlation.This is just great on new consoles.And i would recommend it to anyone with a series X or series S
