This game made me think

This game is an incredible piece of art, the atmosphere of revachol is so gritty and grounded and it contrasts beautifully with the protagonists batshit mental antics. One of my favourite games of all time can't sing its praises enough

HARDCORE TO THE MAX

This game is truly fantastic, the writing the art style and the music all suck you in making a quick ten minutes turn into hours of playing. Then when you finish start again with a different set of skills to get an absolute different experience, play as sherlock homes seeing everything logical or brute force the answers or have yor tie unlock the key to the case as you become super disco cop.

10 mins in and I just punched a 12 year old kid in the face for accusing me of being a nonce... 5 stars

looks like a strange game but it completely capsture your attention until the end

Never tried this genre before and quite frankly wouldn't other than the fact this was on sale and the reviews were good. Went into it not expecting much and it felt rather tedious at the start but soon I just came to play with an open mind and truly as the game continued I was blown away. For a genre I have never played I would place this in my top 10 games for the story alone. Great atmosphere and extreme depth in what you can do. 10/10 no doubt, I highly recommend this even if the genre doesnt appeal to you.

Cuno is King.

I struggled with this game at the start. I just couldn't get into it , but i pushed on and I'm so glad I did. The story was truly great. And the setting was genuinely special. Don't expect fastpaced action and go in with an open mind and you will not regret the time you spend on this game

I can't really add anything without repeating what's already been said in praise. It was so outlandish yet grounded in the same space, I adored it.

Disco Elysium is a beautiful and masterful point-and-click style adventure game. Its writing is unstoppable, with every single line dripping with character. The characters themselves are fleshed-out people with lives beyond the mystery, and a staggering amount of dialogue and interaction options with each of them. The story is both mature and whimsical, riding a narrow line between crime thriller and psychedelic drug trip. My first playthrough came to a satisfying but bittersweet conclusion, but the sheer volume of choices and tasks could lead to any number of outcomes, allowing tons of replayability. All in all, if you are a fan of good witty writing, dense mysteries and fantastically intricate and challenging puzzles, this game is right up your alley.

This was that good I have completely changed my mind.

Do you like drugs? Do you have a severe drinking problem? Are you a communist and / or a facist? Do you enjoy chaotic ginger children insulting your entire life? If any of this resonates with you buy this game and have a wild adventure talking to yourself

It has surpassed all other games for me, it is my favourite game bar none.

I've never played a game like this before and I doubt I will again. A majestic experience.

Dialogue heavy RPGs with little to no actions are not usually my cup of tea but this game is an amazingly weird and unique experience. I have played through it twice and cannot wait to go again, this time in “HARDCORE!” mode.

Outstanding storytelling. This is art.

For the sheer player freedom of choice and consequence alone, the game receives a 8/10. Add the unique visual design, unforgettable characters and an original soundtrack by British Sea Power, then you have a 10/10. Superb and highly recommended if you are a gamer with a brain.

Feels like playing a really good book, but this is an experience that could only work as a game. There is rich history, culture, politics, and mystery to explore in various ways depending on your character choices. Also kim is the single greatest video game companion.
