Had a great time

I had a really fun time, but sometimes there were really long loading screens and at one point there was a glitch and i had to start a puzzle all over again. But other then that everything went well

A flawed masterpiece of digital storytelling

Strarting with the negatives; for a remaster of a late x360 title the graphics aren't great an some cutscenes don't load sound properly, this alone keeps it from 5*. Now the positives; the voice acting from most characters is brilliant. The game has a really deep and immersive story, centered around an investigation your character (Max) undertakes with her best friend Chloe. The story goes to dark places, tastefully dealing with a range of topics including: bullying, suicide, poverty, euthenasia, voyeurism, drugs, animal abuse, sexual identity and sexual predators. At no point does it feel forced and you are swept along for a 20+ hour emotional rollercoaster. Chapters 4 & 5 are exceptional and play with your emotions beautifully. Part of me wishes I'd given it a chance years ago, but I know this game is best approached with some life experience, maturity & an open mind, and I would not have been mentally ready until I was in my late 20s. I wouldn't recomend it to under 25s.

Audio issues

In the most dramatic scenes the music an background sound cuts off, besides the bugs the game its 10/10

Great game, terrible remaster

The remaster has too many bugs, mostly Max's model stretching in every direction multiple times, and audio just not working in some cutscenes actively ruining them. Play the original don't support the remaster

I love the game but this is sobuggy ican't even get the last achievement i need beacuse I can't interact with the bathroom graffiti

One of my fav games

I just finished my 2nd playthrough of the game and everything still hit the same. Tears were shed at some points. Eventhough the story is incredible, there are some parts in later episodes where it does get abit glitchy but it is still playable. For me some of the music didnt play, i got a little stuck in somethings but i was able to get out withour needing to restart and one scene in the diner where nathans character was broken but apart from these i would really recommend playing. :)

Incredible game, depressingly disappointing "remaster"

I dearly love Life Is Strange. The story, the characters, all of it, it forever lives in a deep & secure place in my heart. Unfortunately, this so-called "remaster," it's pretty disastrous. From music and sound effects randomly disappearing, to copy & pasted cutscenes from the non-remastered version, to some messy lightning alterations, it is such a shame that a game as beautiful as LiS got such a shoddy, lazy "remaster." The animation and graphical enhancements and improvements are (at least for most of the time) stunning and the new animations are decent. But just buy the original game, as this remaster has FAR too many issues for it to be the definitive way to experience this magnificent story of life, love and loss in the bay of Arcadia.

Love this but

I adore this but do not appreciate the that for some reason all white people are racist i therefore will not play the second one it is a form of racism to suggest that everyone who is white is ignorant or a villian which is appalling there are better ways to teach about racism other then with a different form racism. This is why movies and games are failing i have never felt so beaten down for being white people are fed up with this ****

Very Disappointed

LiS is one of the finest games I've ever played. However, this remaster does it a huge dis-service. As most of the other reviews have already said stick to the originals - far too many audio glitches and crashes that take you out of it to bother with. 5/5 for the story, 3/5 for what little difference this "remaster" actually makes.

Get the non remaster for a good time

Love this series, love this game. Has some gut punches within the story. But this verson is a mess. Music and sound cut out all the time, even in the ending. Graphics bugged out alot. Crashes to desktop 5 times though my run. Older verson 5stars,get that one intead. Oh killer OST aswell. Glad old verson came with music CD.
