MICROSOFT PATCH THE GAME

The gamepass version of this game is bad, it has a werid issue booting up for the first time and the games fps is a stuttering mess unless u tweak the cfg file of the game. Microsoft hasn't fixed this for years. Just buy the steam version, its cheap and doesn't have that boot up issue but other than those issues the game itself is good.

ONLY GAME MY PC CRASHES WITH

I have a decent setup -- 3050GTX, 32GB RAM, AMD RYZEN 7 I play all my games (BTF 2042, RDR2, FORXA 5) all on HIGH graphics I load this game and everytime the screen goes black when loading and I have to force-stop my PC. I believe there are files you can delete but you shouldn't have to do this. F that. I want to play the game without having to spend an hour what I need to manipulate in the file storage.

Lizzie : The only reason why I gave two stars is because the game is actually scary, but unless you want to vomit your dinner I wouldn't advise playing this game. Beni : Nah this is dead fam.

Weird, bizarre, fun action gore game.

I have played to death this action gore genre. So I don’t find games like the TEW scary anymore. It can be still a fun wild ride for sure action wise. This game likes to throw things at the player and confuse them on purpose. Like Silent Hill style to keep the player on edge how the normal looking can just flip. This gave suffers from cheap deaths, but cheap deaths don’t count as a legit death. This PC version still runs better than PS3/4 versions ever did. The reason for buying this as in wanting a better running version.

Better then the Steam version...

I was going to get this game on Steam till I seen the issue with framerates and the "blackbars" the game makes you play with... This version lets you pick either 30 or 60 fps and to remove the black bars... I'm impressed with how well optimised the game on the Xbox App are.

Unplayable

I'm unsure if this is an issue with my system or game but I can't get it to run. When I open the game my monitor gives a message saying the resolution isn't supported. I've tried various fixes and none have worked. I am forced to remove HDMI cable so I can force close the game on laptop monitor using control alt delete. I am glad I don't have epilepsy as my laptop monitor was flickering until I force closed it.

Great game just a bit outdated

It still is a great game, just some mechanics are a bit outdated and the last few chapters overstay their welcome imo. I never had any technical issues, ran great on my 3080 but what is weird is that achievements stopped unlocking halfway trough the game (even the difficulty achievement I should've gotten) and Bethesda support couldn't really help me with my issue.

Run your display at 60hz

People complaining about stuttering and not running well, switch your monitor refresh rate to 60hz and works fine. Doesn't like freesync/above 60hz for some reason.

I have a 1080TI and the game runs perfectly. Not sure what others are talking about. I also beat the whole game in 1440p on an ultrawide monitor.

Great remastered version

To fix 4K issues run with No Display Scaling so 100% only on your desk top settings. This also contains several settings not in other versions like inf ammo & FOV adjustment. Definitive version on PC Game Pass still looks great, plays fantastic all time classic survival action horror game from the Japanese masters of the genre!!

if your having game issues try playing windows mode

works perfect in windows mode during fullscreen at beginning of game it decides to close itself got past chapter 1 in windows mode and continued playing fullscreen no issues so far
