Many are so disgruntled with games. Even on sale for under £2. With gamers so hard to please its no wonder developers are not bothering anymore and consensious is obviously warning the demise of the console and more support for the P.C. The game is as described. A game made many years ago that at the time paid over £20 for. If they'd beefed it up a bit there would be cries they've ruined a classic. It's as good as i remembered it on the Atari ST. Its such a shame we have such an unsatified amount of console users. Hardly surprising when given the choice they'd rather develop for the PC and not bother wasting time and money on picky console users.

Only bought for a cheap convenient way to play the original arcade game on my console. 'Retro' would be great, if you were able to turn off the pointless stuff at the sides of the screen, the pointless 'it's on a CRT screen' emulation, the pointless 'you're in an arcade' background noise etc. Why developers do this when they include an emulation of the original I do not know. I'll stick to MAME.

Don't listen to the haters, this is awesome. It's like Arkanoid with some extra flavor, and fans of the classic game will adore it.

No Regrets for £2.49

First up, the included 'retro' version of Arkanoid is by far and away the worst port I've ever played - and with no option to resize the play area, remove the 'domed' CRT effect and disable those godawful background noises it was completely unplayable for me. That aside, the rest of the game modes aren't too bad - and whilst the online side of things is very quiet there is still a fair amount of challenge to be had against some pretty tough CPU opponents or simply climbing the online leaderboards. The only other niggle I've encountered is that the onscreen effects which occur when your position changes in 'online battle' are extremely distracting. Normally I would never, ever advise anyone to set their standards low enough to purchase ANY Microids game but on this occasion I reckon that if you're into arcade games and can live with mediocre levels of visual quality & presentation then it could be a well spent £2.49. Anything more than that though and you've been ripped off!

I got this for £2.99👌Its a great game, i just wish more people were playing as "eternal battle" (multiplayer) is full of AI, most ive seen is, 3 other people in a game at one time. Overall, its addictive, fun and if people were playing with 25\25 people in a game at one time, it would be epic! P.S can i get a LIKE for the effort of typing this review using my Xbox controller 😂😜

Game just crashes all the time after a few seconds

Despite saying this should work on my system, the game starts to play byt crashes within a few seconds of it starting up.

The worst Battle Royale game ever made.

The fact it's published by Microids should be proof of how bad this is, but it's so much worse than you think. Visually disgusting, constantly flashing and moving things around in order to distract you from playing a game of Arkanoid, and you don't even win when you're last alive. You have to fight a boss that's ripped straight from a Creepypasta in order to get a "victory". Disgusting, no point being a Battle Royale, Microids just wanted their own Tetris 99. Like all Microids games, avoid.

"Just" worth £2.49

I love Arkanoid, but this is just the original with a lick of paint, the arcade rom with annoying arcade sounds and a massive bezel, and a battle royale version no one is playing online. Reminds me of a mobile game. DO NOT BUY AT FULL PRICE! Passable for £2.49, just.

Loved the arcade and C64 original but this is very 'bare bones'. Not much to it at all. I paid £2.49 so its not so bad. Buy 'Shatter' instead as its better in every way.

80s classic.

One of the best games from the 80s. Now back from the past with all new game play and a online battle with players from around the world. So think you have the skills to be the best player and take on the new generation. And hope that you can take on the fight with Doh and his maze again.Good luck
