enjoyed this game back in the day then they made cq2 and every Halloween they put cq2 on gamepass they both are defo good games with a ff style sort of play but with costumes. defo play them and give them both a try.

This game is great the graphics are pretty good for a 360 game and the story pretty good but simple. I have no nostalga for the game [considering i wasn't even born when it released], so this is purely off game play the costumes are nice and battle stamps are pretty cool. But i didn't know how to use them tell half way through my main gripe with the game is the battling its very basic but it doesn't really effect game play to much i just personally think its a bit 1 sided

I played the second game first but this one is pretty good too. Besides the repetative gameplay and quests the design is nice and some dialouge can be funny plus it has free expansion dlc

Kiddyish fun

Very much 'for kids' but does well too for grown ups wanting just an easygoing bit of escapism. Its cheeky humour is good too. 'Turn based' combat isn't complex & off putting, more like a minigame, & without penalty for losing. So, just take it for fun, relax, take a night of the Milsims. Lighthearted & imaginative. Have a snack & be a kid for a while.

Great little game

I bought this years ago, not through GWG or whatever people are moaning about. Seeing it pop up on gamepass reminded me of its existence and how fun it was. Its made me replay it, cool little bonus of the free DLC too. Not everyone had gold way back when, if you already have it; good for you, if not, enjoy its fun and cartoony and just an easy, fun game.

This was 100% given away with games with goldd however theyre giving the dlc away free aswell with gamepass which im not sure if it was free otherwise, not a bad little game to play for Halloween im sure this could be a good starter turn based rpg for children to get into the genre.

As has been already mentioned this was given away with GWG (yes it was...October 2020) but that doesn't automatically mean everyone owns it - or rather, has access to it. Gamepass caters for everyone regardless of who owns what....remember that! I own the game outright and what I will say is that Costume Quest is well worth a look if you fancy something that's a little less hectic and a lot more forgiving than normal. Is it a classic? No Is it a good addition to gamepass? Yes. Despite the inevitable "I already own it..." (blah, blah, blah) complaints and subsequent 1 star reviews I will still take stuff like this over modern day pixel art nonsense any day of the week.

The only thing scaring me here is how stupid people are! Costume Quest 2 is an xbox one game. It was given to us on GWG many moons ago. First thing i noticed when I saw this is the 360 logo on the pic. The fact that multiple people actually wrote a review out with out reading it properly is pathetic. Even more so when you know itll be some grown *** man doing the moaning as well.

Think some folks are getting this confused CQ2 Yep that came on GWG i own it had games with gold ever since it started ive never had this one all one stars look at 1st im blind as a bat can still tell difference where i was review awesome game bit fiddley in places great for kids keeps em busy 🤣👍

A fun turn based RPG for all ages

This game is a colourful introduction to turn based quests. Based on sibling rivalry, there are plenty of costumes to collect, each with its own ability. The graphics are colourful and there are around 8 hours of gameplay in total. The game is not particurlarly difficult, but it is hard to put down. Especially suitable for younger players.
