Brilliant... as usual

All of the Yakuza games are brilliant in their own way, and this is no exception. It isn't as good as 0, 6 or Like A Dragon, but still a good game nonetheless. For newcomers to the series, begin with Yakuza 0 followed by this. You won't be disappointed. Some of the best storytelling in gaming history comes from this series.

If you are looking to get into Yakuza I would start with 0. It adds a lot more context and much more of an impact to the story of this one. The game and the story are 5/5. There were however some bugs in the game which prevented me from unlocking all of Majima's abilities. This is not a showstopper and I hope it can be fixed in the future.

just start off nothing wrong with the pc versions of yakuza games those complain either got bad pcs or didn't install it right as for the game kiwami its a very good game with a compiling story that sure get better as you go through the other games in order also marjima will find you know matter where you are =)

Japanese only

Just like yakuza 0 the language of the menus and everything written defaults to japanese with no option to change to english. The game is supposed to detect the language and switch automatically but in this platform it stays as japanese no matter what...

Fantastic story driven romp through retro Japan. A total blast, arcade style fighting that you can make as complicated or as simple as you like. Great graphics with pretty low demands. My first Yakuza game and I highly recommend it. Wish it would have saves shared with xbox though.

I played Yakuza Zero on ps4, but when I saw this on Gamepass I had to download it immediately and jump back in the wacky hijinks of Kiyru Kazama and co.

Side quest and openning suck..... Honeslty just watch an anime the fights are better.... You run around for an hour about a bloody ring.... Not as good as i remember i would avoid. Looks good though and the update of Visuals in nice shame you will be bored

5 mins action, 15 mins cut scene, rinse, repeat. When i was nodding off I knew it was time to quit and uninstall. I guess action visual novels aren't really my cup of tea.

These games are increadibly fun and have hours upon hours of content for you to sink your teeth into. if your willing to make it through the slow first half you will be rewarded. Having played them on PS4 Kiwami is an amazing remaster of the 1st game
