Ai is helbent on making you crash, the mechanical side of things is stuped, but the riding is fun if you can get past the hand full of bikes, stupid ai and just generally poorly exicuted game, ride does way better because its done right, but it fails at realisim, where rims is far more a simulator than ride, but its not enough to make rims better as its the only good point.

I want to start with the good, the route itself all good. The trains are awesome 350 great addition with getting a NEW 377/2 for short 15 min services. We get FREE underground 1972 stock services. The route maybe could of had better lighting but other than that, I like it! The bad side is, why do we need a TSW 5 for this route!? Just call the game TSW already

The game is fun, its a grind but its also somewhat relaxing.. However, there are still some bugs that have persisted even after being 'patched'. Some materials disappear, save gets wiped after hours of grinding. (for the devs: i exited after saving, went on a different game and went back on after a few hours and my save was not there). Overall, if the bugs get fixed and some setting for the camera and game get added itd be 5 stars.

TLDR: Maps are fun. New scout is really cool. New truck is different and interesting. New specialist is good for co-op/rescuing other trucks. The new maps are basically the above ground and below ground of the same area. The above ground is my favourite desert/canyon map in the game. It deceptively has a lot of climbs which make for stunning views. The below ground is fun and different to traverse while acting as alternate routes to take for the above ground. The Shiba Overlander is my favourite looking scout with access to the free dlc rock climbing winch, making it an utter beast. The albatross is a cool new 'offroad' truck with front and rear steering making it really nimble but does struggle with power (with stock engine anyway). The new specialist is really focused at saving other stuck vehicles which could really be useful in co-op or if you haven't unlocked all the stuck trucks in the game.

Visuals are poor, the gameplay loop is simplistic and uninteresting, the decor and furnishings just plain ugly and the more you play it, the more it screams "ultra-low budget five year old game that's arrived on consoles for one final payday" in your face. In fact, I just ended up hiring staff to do as much as possible and spent my time waiting on tables, ferrying endless packages from the post box to my store room and fixing a million smoke alarms until a voice in my head said "why?"...and then uninstalled it. But if it's on sale then I highly recommend you purchase it...purely and simply to experience how bad a themed simulator game can be

Ever since i bought the West Somerset Railway and class 33 and 31 ive be waiting for livery support , now it says i don't own them! Look it isnt really difficult to please the players , before adding new game mechanics just fix the existing ones so they work, want one of each loco in the livery editor rather than three or four multiples of some and still no class 31 or 33. Rant over, looks pretty at least

Started to get a bug, looked like overlap when selecting paragon board, class specialties or character panel. On exit from these the screen would black out in places as though it was a camera issue (could see scenery etc or roofing indoors) thought the game file may some how be corrupted (other games fine) so i uninstalled and cleared cache. Now i'm unable to download the Ultimate edition as it's not recognised under purchase! (only option is the trial versiom???)

I loved the original, so great to see all the original tracks and all new ones! Game is insanely fun for a few hours then when you get good enough to a certian point it becomes very repetitive; where you know every shortcut and how to optimise tracks. I wish the devs extended the life of this game by adding more content. Other than that. great looking; great playing game overall. probally best enjoyed with friends.

Worth a buy, someone said "on par" with streets of rage and final fight.......errrr no but worth a get if you are craving a decent 2d side scrolling beat em up. Its a top level sor clone, polished with great soundtrack. Foreground masks pick ups which can be annoying but everything else great job. down to 4 stars as occasionally get booted back to start screen before starting 6th level. Re added star due to soundtrack being better than sor4....

Awesome anti grav racer, Cold Storage is back for the soundtrack along with some other great DnB artists, I like the loadout system compared to the randomness of originals, tracks are well designed and memorable. My only real complaints are that the AI isn't very challenging to play against in the non-career modes (since I don't usually play career first) even on the higher speed classes and my cosmetic loadouts keep reseting. I would have also liked if the announcer was more verbose like the originals announcing contender eliminations and pickups plus a few more crafts would be cool, maybe a DLC or sequel one day? Overall despite very minor shortcomings I love this game and still is a 5/5 for the clear passion of the devs to recapture that original WipEout feel with modernised graphics and mechanics. Also turn on Camera Shake since there is no motion blur you feel like you are going slower than you really are.

I started to get bored, opening things with nothing to look at in them, bleak and bare to the point I wasn't expecting the last 60 seconds.. I feel this could have been made a quicker shorter compact story perhaps 1 of a few short stories.. it isn't a game and therefore the one or 2 lines every 10 or so minutes makes your brain hurt.. now looking at it after the ending I can appreciate it but it was too dragged out and sparse for the impact I think they were hoping for..which it coulda had.

Great story, great characters, excellently written (and funny) dialogue and it has that special something that some games have that makes it feel epic and gets you deeply invested. I did not want it to end. Even more so if you play/watch the 1st and 2nd games (the 1st isn't mandatory, but HIGHLY recommended) A very rare, special game that stays with you. 5/5 Edit: Forgot to add, the voice acting is up there with the best.

Looks good and plays really well in single player, with no obvious moments where you feel like the rng is unfairly favouring AI opponents. No idea what multiplayer is like because I don't subscribe to XBL any more...but (assuming you can find an online game) I see no reason why it shouldn't be a decent blast. My only real reservation is that life choices are quite limited and it might not take too long before A>B paths feel a bit too similar. Fortunately though, who wins and who loses is determined by the spin of a wheel so the outcome of each game will always differ. Oh, and if truth be told the deluxe content is a bit underwhelming because they use the exact same board layout & mechanics, but with a different background art. I paid £14 for the DX bundle and that feels about right, so if it does crop up again at a similar price then go for it. If not then the standard edition is fine because you're not missing anything noteworthy with that version.

Three ok routes, new trains, a guard mode that's a bit like an Xmas jumper (wear it once to please your grandma then never wear it again) and...erm...some other stuff that's probably a figment of my imagination but I'll say it anyway to flesh out the 'new and exciting' section. Good news! To ensure a smooth transition into TSW5, DTG have thoughtfully done absolutely nothing to improve poor lighting, framerates, stutters and pop-ins. A masterstroke idea...you'll feel like 4&5 are the exact same game in next to no time. There's more. Hover cars and wayward passengers are ever-present in TSW5 but to integrate these as WCML features, Rivet Games have been summoned. Cars still hover like it's 2054 and passengers still wander aimlessly, but when they do stray onto the tracks they'll be safe in the knowledge that, thanks to Rivet's 'special' skills, they won't get run over due to inbound trains being stranded somewhere south of Watford with their doors stuck open. Game itself is good. However multiplayer is broken and the "mythical battles" is actually one battle on the only level it unlocks. About 1 hour of extra gameplay.

Please STOP saying that this is the spiritual successor to 'Until Dawn', because it really is NOT! It is a decent enough romp, but sadly it loses a couple of stars from me. The main gripe I have is that the game is just one long movie, and I wanted more action. I also got cheated out of an achievement even though I did what I was supposed to do in order to save Kristen! I'll replay the game in order to get missed achievements, and to watch it as a movie, lol! The game is good if you have nothing better to do on a Friday night, and you're in the mood to be the OPPOSITE of scared.

a very cheap puzzle game defo great for those achievement hunters. i enjoyed the puzzles, but in truth i only got the game as it was cheap and for the 1000gs but ended up enjoying it. defo get it if you like puzzles and the achievements.

love this game back on the 360 so i got it again as a remaster on the xbox series x and it looks and plays great. all i can tell you is to get the remastered game instead of the 360 game its not to put you of but so you will enjoy it more.

if you have not played cq1 defo play before cq2 as the story carrys on from that. this game is a ff style but you battle in Halloween costumes and collect alot of candy mmm candy.

just a cheap version of mario karts. this game is only good for the 1000gs. you have to play though the whole game if you want the 1000gs. as an achievement hunter i did that but wont be doing again for sure.

Luckily I bought the deluxe edition but there is 100 services with the 390 in the route, if you are train fan or not, I think you should stay away from it even though it costs 15 quid.

As an achievement hunter i only played the game for the 1000gs plus it did look fun in the video clip. dont trust video clips is all i can say.

I could not believe how disappointed i was at this game.. It is truly terrible in comparison to the original. The AI in the campaign constantly rolling 6! Terrible, would not recommend.. Stick with the original its far superior.

This garba- I mean game is awful. If you are a 1-2 kd ratio player, you can have some amazing games. But sometimes, you die 7 times before even doing damage to anyone. If SBMM wasn't broken this review would be 5 stars.

Becomes very boring very quickly. You end up waiting ages for crops, trees etc to grow/blossom and not eough things to do while you wait. If you want to visit other farms you have got have the xbox subscription!!! Everytime i load the game it goes to the xbox subscription screen.

I started re-downloading all the content to train sim world 5 i was dissapointed not all add ons avalible on day 1 and the new routes are not really much of a differnce from other past routes i have been waiting for welsh routes but nothing cardiff newport cwmbran pontypool would be completely different and also the amount of times i heard tsw is for fans of rail but yet where are all the historical trains and locations like the mallard stepensons rocket and the menai bridge the add on structure is not great listen to what the everyday players that buy the games and add ons and im not talking about the influencers that have early access and free content

First time i've ever felt ripped off after buying a game. Still same bug, scenery popping, blurred wheels and motion. Nightmare to transfer tsw4 and even now Ihave paid dlc missing. Very sloppy and poor update. Beware, wish I had waited for free version via game pass.

Like other MMO's its a solo experience until you do an anchor. Going to an early dungeon requiring others was once easy. Now Elites decide if you look geared enough to join. Kicked or left behind just adds to solo dull. I have 9 alts all lonely lol. Not to mention loot crates and evil priced dlc where £18.99 buys you 3000 Crowns. DLC at 3500. So if you want it youre forced to buy another crown pack. This will get Sweat downvotes but everyone brings joy at your triggered weakness. Better days were pre eveything everywhere. Having to grind an area created teaming. You killed that 5 years ago

Adjust variable shooting times, remove shooting rng, fix layups, the animations are really good this year and im liking the build system just fix shooting as a whole, free throw rating green time and just give us back a better green window for higher 3 stat and tone down the importance of shooting risk bots be hitting sl late / early 3s all day on normal / low whilst good players w no zen be 40 - 56% from 3 w high risk. Any other 2k these players would be 75 - 100% greening almost everything if not lights out

Appreciate the level of transparency from Dovetail, although that doesn't disregard the less than impressive launch. In my opinion the core game really is good, the only thing holding it back are the glitches, if they were ironed out i reckon this would be close to 5 stars, but the route prices prevent me from giving that rating, i understand that the economy is less than terrible and the studios have wages to pay but these prices for individual routes are almost unjustifiable

This is a pretty solid game so far not to far in currently stuck in the grocery store. The attention to detail is great like when you flick the torch on and off with your thumb. Caseoh should play this there's a cute KITTYYYY! in this game.

Mars War logs crawled so spider could walk with their recent success Greedfall. The groundwork for that franchise is all here in its frustating action RPG lite glory. If its on sale i'd recommend it if you enjoy these Eurojank RPGs.

this is defo a great game of battleships, but only with a friend due to the ai and the coding of the game. ai seems to find your ships quite easy, some would say it cheats. But play with a friend is so much fun and you defo know your friend cant cheat. i like how you can play 2 player my kids love it too wont stop asking me to play.

No matter how many times they make new simulator's they always forget a key part of the simulation real life simulator should simulate what real life looks like you've all been working on the mechanics for the game going on years now maybe it's time to get a grip on you're texture packs and overall up to date graphics because this ain't it this was cool 20 year's ago it's not anymore.
its not a bad puzzle game, it has you thinking alot but once you master it you can get an easy 3000gs. This is defo a game for achievement hunters so go get that 3000

Not a Rayman-beater, but in a similar vein, this colourful 2D platformer starts easy but ramps up the difficulty later on...be prepared for plenty of hair-tearing moments of frustration. A variety of environments and enemies help to keep it fresh throughout. If you like the 2D Rayman games and are craving something similar-ish, this might scratch that itch. Marsupilami is a very challenging, but highly enjoyable and addictive game that took me by suprise.

Routes are ok. Conductor (guard) mode is good, but the big let down is the price. £40 for standard is decent considering you get 3 routes. £60 for deluxe is really pushing it. And £105 for special?! This is a train game not EA FC! And most content included in special edition isn't even new! Buy the game if you want, everyone's opinion is different, but be warned of D Dovetail's prices
